Initial System Setup

You can easily customize the general Business Settings in TAKU to meet the needs of your business. However, if you want to get started quickly, simply review the following key settings:

1. How to set up taxes for the following:

   • Sales Taxes

   • Tax Rules

   • Tax Categories (used for rebates & exemptions, for example native tax status)

2. How to set up inventory categories (e.g. vitamins, drinks)

3. (Optional) How to set up account groups (e.g. VIP, seniors)

4. (Optional) How to set up brands for products (e.g. Nike)

5. (Optional) How to set up inventory options for products with multiple variants (e.g. size, color)

6. How to set up cashout settings for daily settlement
