Editing Inventory Prices

This article will guide you on how to edit the prices of your productss in TAKU

In TAKU, there are multiple ways for you to edit the pricing of your inventory items.

Manual Editing of Inventory Pricing

The pricing of every product can be changed manually. Simply go to Inventory > Inventory List and search for the product. Use any of the search options in the header of the inventory list table indicated by the magnifying glass.

Once you have found the inventory item you would like to edit, click View to see more details. Then edit the pricing directly in the fields within the Sell Price or Alt Price sections.

Bulk Editing of Inventory Pricing

To edit the pricing of multiple products at the same time, go to Inventory > Inventory List and use the filter options in the header of the inventory list table as required with keywords (e.g. Product Title, Category, Tags, etc.).

For example, to edit the pricing on all products with the word “chocolate” in the Product Title, enter “Chocolate” in the product title search field:

1. Inline Editing

Once you have found the products you would like to edit, click the edit icon (the pencil) on the top left above the headers to turn on Edit Mode. Once the inventory list table is in Edit Mode, you can manually edit inline for every visible row simply by clicking the field you wish to edit. If the field turns into a blue box when it is clicked, it is an editable field.

2. Bulk Editing

Alternatively, you can also use Bulk Edit Options in Edit Mode to change many visible rows at the same time. Before filtering the rows, decide if you want to edit 10, 20 or 100 rows at the same time by using the page selector at the bottom of the inventory list table.

Once you have the products you would like to edit, click the edit icon (the pencil) on the top left of the header to turn on Edit Mode and click the top checkbox in the header to select all of the visible rows at once. Or only select the rows that you would like to edit all at once.

Click the Choose Column field under Bulk Edit Options to select the specific pricing field you would like to edit.

Select the Edit Option based on how you would like to edit the products.

With pricing changes, especially increases or decreases, it is possible to mass update rows in bulk by $ or %.

If rounding options are required (e.g. rounding to the closest $0.05), enter the rounding unit into the Round To field before clicking Preview.

Note that the Preview mode is not yet finalized. If the bulk edits are not correct, you can click the Revert icon to undo the last applied bulk edit. If the bulk edits are correct, simply click the yellow Save icon to save all changes.
