# Taxes

The following guides give step-by-step instructions on taxes setting for your business. TAKU Retail allows you to create a tax then apply rules and add the tax to categories. This will allow you to create tax settings that align with legal tax regulations in your business area.

Taxes in TAKU Retail are preloaded by default for Canada.
